Eligibility Criteria
The scheme is open to families meeting specific income and ownership conditions:
  • EWS (Economically Weaker Section): Annual income up to ₹3 lakhs.
  • LIG (Low Income Group): Annual income up to ₹6 lakhs.
  • MIG (Middle Income Group): Annual income up to ₹9 lakhs.
Other key requirements include:
  • No ownership of a permanent house (pucca house) anywhere in India.
  • Women-centric ownership: The property must be registered in the name of the female head of the household or jointly with a spouse (exceptions apply for households with no adult female members or certain other cases).
  • Applicable for home loans sanctioned and disbursed on or after September 1, 2024.
